Teakwood, being a natural material, possesses a naturally high oil content, providing stability and resistance to rot in varied climates. Due to changes in temperature and humidity, fine cracks, known as checking, may appear in the end grain of components such as legs and laminated tops. This is a normal occurrence, especially in heavier components, and it does not impact the functionality of your furniture. Embrace the inherent characteristics of Teak wood, where these subtle nuances contribute to the unique charm of the material. We do not recommend moving teak furniture from the garden straight into a heated indoor room for storage, as the sharp differences in temperature and humidity may cause the wood to split.

Care & Maintenance

Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dust regularly. Avoid the use of harsh chemicals. Use placemats or coasters under hot items to prevent marks and stains. Protect the surface from liquids like wine, coffee, fruit juice, etc. As a natural and porous material, teak can be nicked, stained, or scratched; avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the surface. Simply clean thoroughly once or twice a year with Teak Cleaner to remove accumulated dirt.

Is my shipping free of charge?

Yes, you qualify for free delivery if your order totals 500aed or more and you are located in Dubai, Abu-Dhabi or Sharjah city limits.

For all other areas as well as areas outside of city limits,(e.g. Al Ain, Western region, Liwa, etc.) we charge a nomimal delivery fee.

All orders less than 500aed carry a nominal charge as well.

*International deliveries have custom shipping charges depending on the product dimensions, weight, packaging and delivery location.

When shall I expect my order?

Our general timeline is 2 business days for Dubai and up to 6 business days for other emirates in the U.A.E.

International deliveries have their own shipping timelines, please refer to your tracking number.

How to prepare for delivery?

International deliveries are curbside only; assembly service is not included. Please make sure that appropriate assistance is booked at the time of delivery.
